PROM DRESS DONATION
From Laura Kovalsky: Hello all. Michelle Moore mentioned this previously but I wanted to let you all know that the collection has *officially* begun for the Prom Pop-Up for West Potomac HS.
They are looking for donations of dresses, new unopened make up, jewelry, bags and shoes.
I helped work the distribution of this event last year and some girls were actually brought to tears after realizing they found their prom dress (for free!!).
Any donations are gladly accepted on my front porch (8212 Chancery) or I can pick up. THANK YOU in advance for going through those closets and drawers for unused makeup!! Tentatively need donations by April 4
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
A "Whack the Invasives" session will be held on April 15th from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM led by West Potomac's Will Friedman, FCPA IMA Site Leader. Help us Take Back the Forest! We will be removing invasive plants from Little Hunting Creek North Shore.

Between the two listed addresses, there is a sidewalk. Walk down the sidewalk until you reach the gravel path. Once on the gravel path, turn left and walk toward the tennis courts. We will be set up next to the tennis courts. Below is the link to register. Some tools will be available but if you have your own, please bring them.
